The Pews are coming in November….. the committee is finalizing the date as we speak/write.
Please send your nominations for the 2008 Pew(wave hand in front of face)litsir awards to the committee ASAP!!!! Remember these trophies are awarded to individuals for various categories of achievements that do not include running generally! That’s right, these are journalistic awards usually given for extreme contributions of humor or for anything really embarrassing - especially if it happens while another Bimbler is able to bear witness in some way. If you are new to this tremendous honor you might have to ask a fellow Bimbler how the committee’s selection process works.
Also, we need donations of old trophies again this year - my personal family is tapped out of 1960’s and 70’s bowling trophies so dig through your attics, hit a couple of tag sales or dust off some old glory and donate some trophies to our organization - bonus points for anything from the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s!! (Thanks Guthrie for you early contribution again this year!!)
For now we need trophies and nominations - dates to follow!!!!!

Sounds VERY interesting. What is the significance of “Pews” (wave hand in front of face)? I am very curious about what those individual trophies are for - especially the baby and the gecko! Having never been a bowler, I don’t have any of those, but might just have some cheerleading trophies laying around (don’t laugh)!

Hahhahahha (laughing still) Any trophies that anybody can donate will be greatly appreciated! You will not get them back so make sure you can part with the award - know that they go for a good humanitarian cause!!!!
