Training for best blood?

November 29, 2008 by Mr Bimble

Best Blood is a rare award given at some races to runners who are able to reveal to the race director battle scares from the race they have just completed. This weekend El Toro took his training to a new level when he was observed to be in training for the accolade of best blood at this years Hellgate 100k

You know better…dodge the horns, don’t kick at them! One benefit though-chicks dig scars!

Yeah, the picture just doesn’t do it justice. I think that is the best training day blood & mud since last winter, but still falls short of Sweeney’s and IGGY’s back to back preformances on last winter’s ice. Still, not bad blood when you consider he didn’t even fall!

Shellygirl, there is a special trail in Branford that is virtually guaranteed to produce these results, so if you ever have an need to really look “tough”, just ask, and we can let you in on the secret.
