They did it!

The NewYorkGuy and his brother completed their goal to run their first marathon in San Diego on May 31st. Henry finished in 4:52 while Sam finished in an impressive 3:57. Now if they were four (new york) guys, we’d raise a glass of rum to celebrate.
Congrats to NewYorkGuy and NewYorkGuy’s brother! Time to celebrate,soak your feet, and plan for your next race!

I’m a little slow, I just saw this posting today. We had a great time and I personally owe a lot of thanks to my Tuesday running buddies (Iggy, Oddjob & others whose aliases I don’t know) and to Forrest for babysitting me on my then longest run ever of 16 miles.
You made running more enjoyable than I would have thought possible, plus you kept me honest to my training schedule. I wouldn’t have gotten through this without you!!!
