The Boston Marathon has made a new registration process.  The faster you beat your qualifying time the earlier you get to register.  They are also lowering the times to qualify by 5 minutes across the board.  Translating into, its going to be harder to get in.  See link below for the news release:

New Venue: Nick and Tony’s in Guilford

Football: OK, I was wrong(!). There is football, sort of… The NFL, in a lame attempt to get people interested in the Pro-Bowl, has moved the Pro-Bowl to the Sunday BEFORE the Super Bowl! Hah, like that would make any difference. At NO TIME in January do any of us want to be reminded that we could be a bunch of over-paid, under-fit professional athletes hanging out in Hawaii, instead of snow-loving, winter-hardy, un-paid Bimblers!!!!! Besides, it is AMERICAN football.  Really…

Be there: At last count, at least 3 dozen of your favorite, or otherwise, Bimblers will be there!

Remember, only YOU can make “The Pews” the highlight of the Bimble year that it always is. How? Two things:

Could it be? Has the time FINALLY arrived? Yes folks, I saw the “tweet” from IGGY today, it said : “Please send in your Pew nominations for 2010!! Your votes count!” Vote early, vote often! Polish your trail shoes! Whet your appetite! Thicken your skin! Date, time, place to be announced, but rest assured, you really can NEVER be “ready” for The Pews. So show up, eat up, and hang on, ‘cuz it is ALL in good fun, and of course, it is ALL true!
