 Re: " The Bash "
Hi John, if the conditions on race day are anything like today, we'll be issuing water wings!

Mr. Bimble,
Suds was so inspired by the conditions today, that he asked if we could remove all the bridges for race day!

 Re: " The Bash "
There even may be some mysterious dams built at water crossings to make the water level knee deep. But I must ask the trolls and seek guidance from the "Oracle".

We KNOW the Oracle likes DEEP water.

 Re: " The Bash "
Ok. I was out on the coarse yesterday p.m. in the sunshine . The water has subsided a lot. Though I am coming up with a plan to flood the coarse. . Because we now know the Oracle likes water crossings. I still need to find that certain troll that undersees the bridges in Westwoods. I found the trail to be in great shape with a few new blowdowns that may need some . Gotta try the coarse in reverse I hear it may be harder.

 Re: " The Bash "
Bash course is different in reverse. Harder? A relative term. Maybe it should be run in alternate directions every other year? The Bluff lollipop is DEFINETELY more difficult in reverse. The Lone Pine Trail to the top of Bluff Head is particularly ever ascending.

 Re: " The Bash "
Bounce, 'Ever ascending' can indeed be trying! However, 'ever descending' -- especially down the rubble-cluttered Bluff -- can be both trying and injurious! Sadly, I speak with Bluff-specific experience!

Ran a good section of it this morning - it was in 'pristine' condition!

 Re: " The Bash "
We NEVER (well, OK, maybe once) went "in" past our knees on the trail this morning.
