I'd say all the comments there are spot on. I had a real good time and wanted to thank you for putting on a good race. I hadn't raced in over a year as I've been battling injuries, so it was good to get an end of the season trial in. I tried to thank all the volunteers when I would remember. Everyone did a great job. The course was certainly challenging but very beautiful and fun as well. Thank you again. I will tell my friends about your race and encourage them to come next year. Greg Lowe, Philly, PA.
One suggestion for the finish: BEER Brother!

Funny you should mention that, the gentleman running the last aid station has just started a micro brewery business http://carlsonbrewery.wordpress.com/

I also ran this event. I had a great time and really enjoyed myself thanks to my two navigators. I believe they were husband and wife. I have no sense of direction. Asked them if they had a problem with me following them, of course they had no problem with it. I follow them thru the pop section. Once we reached the stick section of the course I felt great and picked the pace up. I found my way back without making any more wrong turns. I only made one wrong turn the entire course, not even 2 miles into the event. But had someone yell to me that I was going the wrong way. If I didn't know which way to go I would stop and look for ribbons. They were at all the intersections, just not easy to see at times. I would like to thank the race director and all the aid station personnel for being out there, you all made the race a great event. I also need to thank my two navigators for getting me back to the stick. I am looking forward to running this again next year. Sunday was my birthday and what a great birthday I had.

After hanging around at aid station 1/5 I suppose you could say he helped sponsor this year's race, except that the only refreshment served was gatorade!
