 Registration has closed
Registration for the Bluff closed yesterday when the magic number of 120 was reached. This was 2 weeks ahead of the scheduled closing date! Because it is likely that a few registered runners may decide to drop out before race day, I shall be keeping a standby list. If you want to be added to it, please email me via: jerry(at)mrbimble(dot)com
If your preference is to volunteer, please send emails to the address above. I am particularly interested in assistance to mark and / or take down course markings - an opportunity to see the course in manageable sections with having to do the full bite!

Mr. Bimble,
Given that there are practical limits on how many runners can "fit" at The Bluff, and it appears that it will be a perennial sell-out, you may need to start thinking about another race to absorb the demand...

What a great idea, Forrest! I completely agree. I don't know all the limiting factors, but I suggest a later spring / early summer 20k or half marathon in West Woods. Bimbler's...Blast?? Or half marathon and marathon...Jerry's Journey?? Maybe Quarry trails could be combined with West Woods trails to help find the distances.

 Re: Registration has closed
How about like a 50 miler or 100k or imagine a 100 miler.

OR: a Marathon AND 50 miler (or 52, in Bimbler typical fashion, given 2 loops of 26), on the same day, like Stone Cat. Those distances would probably draw a great group, and the courses could well turn out to be better than Stone Cat.

Can't too much, but never say never. If a 3rd race materializes it won't be in Westwoods, it won't be less than 50k ........... and it won't be 'easy'

Not easy? How unlike you, Mr. B! Longer than 50k? How much longer? Do tell! When you can... Not in West Woods? Well, not so surprising, if over 50k. But where? And there is the question about: when? Perhaps during Or even Or maybe Very curious!
